 Bhama Roget was seen at the Seattle Repertory Theatre in RESTORATION COMEDY. She has also done work with the UMO Ensemble, and is a seven-year member of professional improv group THE EDGE, performing monthly at the Playhouse on Bainbridge Island., as Marie Louise in THE CONSTANT WIFE and Brooke in NOISES OFF. Other Seattle appearances include Yitzak in HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH at Re-Bar, INFLAGRANTE GOTHICTO, VERA WILDE, REFERENCES TO SALVADOR DALI MAKE ME HOT, and UNDER THE GASLIGHT at The Empty Space, and SEUSSICAL and GO, DOG. GO! at Seattle Children's Theatre.

Favorite roles include Eva Peron in EVITA, Trina in MARCH OF THE FALSETTOS, Truvy in STEEL MAGNOLIAS, Wendy in ANGRY HOUSEWIVES, and Fricka in DAS BARBECU. She is a regular at Seattle Childrens Theatre, most recently seen in the title role of HELLO! MRS. PIGGLE WIGGLE. An accomplished cabaret performer, Jayne has penned four one-woman shows, and is working on her fifth.

Why didn't *I* get that part? Directors help keep a theater viable - besides following an artistic vision. They must balance what the company wants with which actors audition. Your skills must balance well with others who would be cast. Its a question of timing & chemistry & - YES! - fate. All as difficult as finding the right career, meeting a soulmate or making a leap in learning. Don't sweat it - there is enough theater to go around for all of us.
