Seattle comedian and performer Mark Siano presents Theatre Dangerously, a cabaret.  Theatre Dangerously boasts a line-up that features some of Seattle's top talent. 

-John Osebold, new songs from the "Awesome" guitarist and vocalist
-Solomon Georgio, stand-up from the winner of the Stranger Gong Show
-Blood Squad, slasher satire from Seattle's top improv team
-Becky Poole, absurd comedy from one of Seattle's favorite new performers

About the performers ....

BLOOD SQUAD:
Blood Squad performs a live, improvised slasher-films based on audience suggestion. Armed with only four folding chairs, the gore is left to the audience's imagination as this skilled group of improvisers brings an entire world to life, and eventually death, before your eyes. Blood Squad is Brandon Felker, Michael White, Elicia Wickstead & Molly Arkin with musical accompaniment by Troy Mink.

JOHN OSEBOLD:
John Osebold is a Seattle musician and accidental practitioner of other art forms. He is a member of the band / art collective "Awesome" and has enjoyed a good smattering of collaborations with local artfolk. He has performed on very big stages and very tiny spaces, in front of thousands and for practically no one, and has made very expensive recordings and recordings of terribly low quality in his closet. CHERRY MANHATTAN: 
Dirty debutante and swingin' socialite CHERRY MANHATTAN is one young lady who is certainly putting the 'ass' back in Classy.   A graduate of Miss Indigo Blue's Academy of Burlesque, Cherry has performed at On the Boards, McLeod Residence, Richard Hugo House, and the Jewel Box Theater at Rendezvous.  She recently appeared at Teatro Zinzanni and on the Bagley Wright stage in Bumbershoot's "Bumberlesque: Apocalypse at Coney Island" with international sensations Julie Atlas Muz, Tigger and Dirty Martini.    Next up she'll be performing as Brighella, the bordello madame, in Seattle Shakespeare's "A Servant of Two Masters" this January, and watch for Cherry at Annex Theater's Spin the Bottle on Febuary 6!  www.myspace.com/misscherrymanhattan

MARA SICILIANO:
Mara's choreography has been seen in the annual Seattle Fringe Festival, The University of Washington, The One-Act Binge Festival, The Ethnic Cultural Theater, the Intiman Theater, and in association with Dropout Dance. Mara performed with OpenStage Theater in Colorado and was a member of The Dance Connection where she choreographed two full length productions, Come Into Being and The Letter 'L' Project. When not improvising as a company member with Unexpected Productions she can be found taking class at Velocity Dance Studio, dancing as a Freedom Dancer for Mark Siano's Soft Rock Series, or teaching theater and dance to 3-5 year olds. She if co-founder of Origami Girl Productions.

SAM PETTIT:
Sam is a Seattle choreographer who has worked on scores of shows in the last decade in Seattle.  He is also a popular Northwest musical performer.  Tacoma Weekly said, "As Frenchie's 'Teen Angel,' Sam Pettit performs 'Beauty School Drop-out' with humorous virtuosity in a near show-stealer of a moment.  He expertly runs the gamut of '50s era vocal styles."  Seattle Times called Sam a, "flashy attention-getter."

BECKY POOLE:
Becky Poole is an actor, comedian, voice over artist, and saw player who recently moved to Seattle from Brooklyn. She was described by New York Theatre as having a "commitment to the absurd that is hilariously charming" and by New York's Backstage magazine as being "a bizarre blend of perkiness and rage". Becky has been performing, writing, and producing sketch comedy and performance pieces around the country for the last 9 years. Most of that work has been with the critically acclaimed sketch comedy groups MEAT and Becky & Noelle. She started playing the musical saw in 2001 and has been playing it ever since in her own projects, as a special guest with bands like the LA's Ditty Bops and Seattle's "Awesome", and as a member of NYC's experimental cover band Stickerbook. Becky has done voice over work for Bill Plympton, Discovery Kids, Blue's Clues, Nicktoons, PBS, The Cartoon Network and various animated projects. You can hear a few of her original songs on Animal Planet's Meerkat Manor website. And in October, her first published essay was put out by Soft Skull Press in "The Customer is Always Wrong. The Retail Chronicles."

DAVID SWIDLER AND LUKE THAYER:
David and Luke are former members of the popular Seattle comedy troupe, The Habit.  Luke is a now a company member of Unexpected Productions and David is comedic contributer to websites seattlest.com and founder of thedapperlad.com.  David and Luke have both been seen recently at The Rendezvous in Legends in Their Own Minds.  David and Luke met John Osebold, Mara Siciliano, and Mark Siano doing Theatre Dangerously at UW over a decade ago.

SOLOMON GEORGIO:
Solomon Georgio is a stand-up comedian who won the Stranger's 2008 Gong Show.  He is the producer of Cracked Up!  Solomon has recently been seen at Bumbershoot and Sketchfest.  Solomon has been seen at the Re-Bar as a Freedom Dancer, and he is a regular at Laff Hole.  Solomon is a member of the People's Republic of Komedy

THE FREEDOM DANCERS:
Founded in 2007 by Mark Siano, The Freedom Dancers have been seen at the Annex Theatre, Re-Bar, Chop Suey, ACT, and will be at The Triple Door January 30th.  The Freedom Dancers are Joey Chapman, Andrea Ford, Abigail Guay, Joanna Hardie, Lieta Siano, and Mara Siciliano.  They will be accompanied by Laura DiMarco, Solomon Georgio, Conor McNassar, and Becky Poole.  The just finished performing at ACT with their pals "Awesome" in the Election Special of The Awesome Cycle.  The Freedom Dancers are happy to be patriotic now without all the winking sarcasm.  The Freedom Dancers will be reprising their popular original Bollywood Parody written by Mark Siano, Celene Ramadan, and Abigail Guay.

MARK SIANO:
Mark Siano is a Seattle based performer, writer, and producer.  Mark's last one-man show Pinko Holiday was performed at the Rendezvous and before that Mark's Soft Rock Explosion was performed to packed houses at Re-Bar and sold out Chop Suey.  In 1996 Mark co-founded the popular comedy troupe The Habit who became a Seattle favorite before moving to Los Angeles.  Since returning to the Seattle stage nearly two years ago he's produced over nine shows including High Times and Misdemeanors, Soft Rock Spectacular, Legends In Their Own Minds, and many more.  Last year Mark founded the dance troupe The Freedom Dancers, who just performed with local art rock luminaries "Awesome" at ACT for The Awesome Cycle.
