Encore! Theater is thrilled to announce the return of the ever popular musical " Angry Housewives". Opening March 12th and running for at least three weekends, the show is sure to entertain you all.
The show originally, was a Seattle creation and phenomenon, opening in 1983 running for several years at the Pioneer Square Theater. The Performance Circle (our original organization) was the first not for profit, community theater to be allowed to produce the show. This will be the third time that we have brought "Angry Housewives" to the stage. Each time, we have played to sold out houses.
The show is scheduled to perform on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and on Sundays at 2:00 from March 12 through March 28th with the possibility of extension.
The theater is located at 6615 38th Avenue Northwest in Gig Harbor, Washington. Tickets are $18.00/ $14.00. Due to the adult content, we do not recommend the show for children.

Synopsis: Bored with their everyday lives and kept in insignifance by their boyfriends/husbands and sons, these are four angry women. They try a number or outlets but nothing suits until one of them suggests that they form a punk rock group to enter an upcoming talent show. This is a marvelous satire of contemporary feminism with LOL opportunities for men and women alike.
