Allison- Late teens. Mark and Carrie's foul mouthed and loose canon daughter who is wheel chair bound after a drunk driving incident which she's the blame for. Not ready to accept her mistakes and move on due to the constant harassment she receives at school.

Carrie- Early 40's/Late 30's. Mark's newfound lesbian wife. Free spirit and changes herself each day. Carrie is seemingly oblivious to the rift she's caused between the family and just wants to be happy after watching her husband live his dreams.

Millie- Late 30's. Carrie's butchy lover. Millie has a very hard exterior and shows very little emotion towards everyone, even Carrie at times. Her goal is to prove to Carrie that walking out on Mark wasn't a mistake.

The play is about taking a ten day silent meditation retreat put on by the Buddhists, called Vipassana. We are casting 3 women who will play a variety of roles but primarily they will be fellow participants at the retreat. They were originally conceived as "Silent Assistants" but that changed during the first run of this play back in October.'s a remount. Back by popular demand as they say. We are looking for a diverse cast in every way. However, throughout most of the play they work as a group, a combination of a Greek Chorus with a little Three Stooges thrown in, only Buddhist. They must be able to do a cross legged sitting meditation for up to 15 minutes at a time. There's a little singing and sound effects, and also room for peoples creativity and ideas. Folks should bring their resumes, headshots and wear comfortables clothes. Be prepared for movement, improv and reading sides.
